Photographer - Still images or video

Each year we hire official still and video photographers in order to fully document the Festival. This is a job not only for professional photographers but also for enthusiastic photographic students wishing to build their portfolio or for hobbiests wanting experience.

Required Qualifications:

The candidate must have some considerable experience taking still or video images.

Some formal training would be an asset but not essential.

They must have a keen interest in photography.

They must have their own camera equipment. Still photographers must have digital cameras.

They must be prepared to work at least two days of the Festival.

Pay

£50.00 per day.

Digital video tapes will be supplied and paid for by the Festival.

A copy of all the images you take will be given to the photographer after the Festival.

Important Personal Qualities

Outgoing and enthusiastic manner. Able to work independently.

Job Description

Each photographer will be given a stewards costume and will therefore be allowed to film anywhere on the Festival site. Yes this means inside the display lines where all the action is!

The photographer will be given a full written brief as to the type of images we are looking to obtain.

Other Terms

Photographers will have to sign over all rights to the images they take at the Festival to The Malcolm Group Events Limited. They will only be allowed to reproduce the images they take for personal use and their copies may not be sold or used for any commercial purpose.
