EMF - King’s Grove takes place on the August Bank Holiday Weekend (29, 30 & 31 August 2026) at The King’s Grove, Pippingford Park, East Sussex, UK (TN22 3HW) .

The King’s Grove is located in a historic royal location where kings, nobility and invited guests have travelled for centuries to hunt, train for war, test their skills amongst each other, and most importantly to celebrate at a medieval festival.

By Car

The King’s Grove is located about 20 miles north of Brighton and Eastbourne, and approximately 30 miles south of London. There will be ample General and VIP vehicle parking, as well as Blue Badge and coach parking. As you approach the festival site, there will be AA signs to follow.

By Train

The nearest train stations to The King’s Grove are East Grinstead, Royal Tunbridge Wells and Uckfield, all of which have regular rail connections to and from London and the south coast.

Shuttle Buses

Shuttle buses will be available for transportation from East Grinstead Train Station to the festival grounds at Pippingford Park and back again, approximately 20 minutes each way.

Shuttle bus ticket details and booking for 2026 will be announced soon.

Arrival

Weekend Visitors: The gates open at 2pm on Friday 28 August 2026 for weekend camping ticket holders only, and are open until midnight, then again on Saturday 29 August 2026 from 9am. Please do not arrive before or after these times, as you will be asked to leave and return once the weekend car parking is open.

Day Visitors: Parking opens at 9am, and the festival gates open at 10am each day on 29, 30 & 31 August 2026 (rain or shine). The festival closes for day visitors at 6pm daily. Day visitor vehicles may not be left overnight. Please do not leave any pets in your vehicle, otherwise the police will be contacted.

Dogs: All well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
